Why PriceRules exists

Customer-specific prices shouldn't live in checkout code, a spreadsheet and the ERP at the same time.

Mohamed Ali Sraieb, founder of PriceRules

Hi, I'm Mohamed Ali Sraieb, the founder of PriceRules.

I'm a software developer based in Tunisia, and I've spent the last 4 years building web apps and B2B ordering portals for wholesale and distribution companies.

On B2B projects, the same thing kept happening: each customer's negotiated prices ended up hard-coded in checkout code, copied into spreadsheets and kept again in the ERP. Every channel had its own copy, the copies drifted, and the same customer saw different prices in different places. Changing one discount meant a code change and a deploy.

PriceRules is the tool I wanted on those projects: import the price lists you already have, define the rules once, and let every portal, quoting tool and integration ask one API for the price, with the rule that produced it.
