1.About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar browser storage technologies [LEGAL COMPANY NAME]("PriceRules", "we", or "us") uses on the PriceRules website and web application, and why.

It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.

In short

PriceRules only uses cookies and browser storage that are needed to keep you signed in and to remember a couple of interface choices. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and no third-party scripts set cookies on our site.

2.What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser and that are sent back to the website with later requests. They can be first-party (set by the site you are visiting) or third-party (set by a different domain).

Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a website save small pieces of information on your device. Unlike cookies, it is not sent to the server with each request.

3.Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required to sign you in and keep your session secure. PriceRules cannot work without them, so they cannot be switched off in the application.

In the names below, <project-ref> is the identifier of the PriceRules project at our authentication provider, Supabase.

5.Technologies we do not use

PriceRules does not currently use:

  • Analytics or performance-measurement cookies.
  • Advertising, retargeting, or social media cookies.
  • Tracking pixels or similar tracking technologies.
  • Third-party scripts that set cookies on our site.
  • Session storage or other browser databases.

The fonts used on our site are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not send requests to a third-party font service.

[CONFIRM WHETHER THE HOSTING / CDN PROVIDER SETS ANY COOKIES IN PRODUCTION]

6.Signing in with Google

If you choose to sign in with Google, you are taken to Google's sign-in page. Google may set its own cookies on its domain under Google's policies. These cookies are not set or controlled by PriceRules, and they are not set on the PriceRules site.

8.Managing cookies

You can view, block, or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Most browsers also let you clear data for a single site.

  • Blocking or deleting the authentication cookies will sign you out, and you will not be able to sign in while they are blocked.
  • Deleting preference cookies or local storage resets those choices; for example, a dismissed usage notice may appear again.
  • Signing out of PriceRules removes the authentication cookies.

9.Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the cookies or storage technologies we use change, and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
